Chemistry A for Credit Recovery

CDLS Credit Recovery (CR) courses are designed for students who have taken a course and failed it. 

 

CR courses are organized so that students can take a pre-test for each lesson/unit. The exemption of activities is based on which content in the pre-test that the student demonstrates mastery in, not the overall "grade" on the pre-test. 

 

This course is designed for credit recovery for Chemistry I. This course serves as a foundation for the study of Chemistry. The utilization of scientific inquiry, interactive experiences, higher order thinking, real world application all aid the student in ultimately demonstrating a vast understanding of the importance of Chemistry in the world around them; enabling them to apply these properties to their everyday lives.
