Trigonometry
Trigonometry is a branch of mathematics concerned with the study of angles and functions involving angles. You will also investigate the relationships between angles and side lengths in triangles, and how those relationships can be investigated for special triangle types. This course will extend into applications of trigonometric functions in real world scenarios. This course will also explore proofs of properties of trigonometry functions connecting to algebra to prove mathematical identities of trigonometric functions. In addition, there is an introduction to vectors to prepare for application of trigonometry to Physics and Calculus. The goal is the class is to prepare students with a solid foundation in trigonometry for further studies in mathematics and have the trigonometric knowledge to succeed in Calculus courses and beyond.
