SUMMARY of OPTIONS for 2024-2025
CDLS works with districts to find the best way to partner to expand solutions for districts and options for students. Districts can use any or all of the following options. Contact CDLS if you have specific needs for your district, and we will work with you to find the best solution. Pricing is tentative, based on funding.

STANDARD COURSE ENROLLMENT
CDLS Teacher + CDLS Course
This option provides access to all the CDLS courses taught by a Colorado certified teacher. A school district can enroll one student, enroll a group of students. The Course Enrollment option allows students to access courses that the district cannot support locally (i.e. AP, Concurrent, CTE, STEM, Electives, etc.).

Fully asynchronous online courses supported by CDLS instructors who are Colorado licensed. (K-12 Courses)

Access to “real-time” student registration, monitoring and engagement data via the CDLS SIS platform

Support for local “site coordinators”

Support solution based on individual student needs that the district may not be able to support locally (i.e. AP Calculus, Physics, Spanish, additional electives, CTE/Stem, credit recovery or learning recovery and enrichment options.)
CDLS PROVIDES

Access to Student Information System (SIS) portal and Learning Management System (LMS)

Licensed Colorado teachers

Registration and tech support to students

Just-in-timing training provided so school district personnel can effectively use embedded support tools and monitor student progress

Supported by funds provided by the state legislature and a registration fee
DISTRICT PROVIDES

District provides student access to necessary technology, including internet access.

District provides a site coordinator(s) to monitor student progress locally and to approve proper student placement in courses.
DISTRICT PARTNERSHIP
District teacher + CDLS Course
CDLS provides all the support as outlined in the Course Enrollment solution with the flexibility for courses to be taught by a local teacher. This option allows districts to expand course options for students utilizing local teachers as instructors and coaches in areas where the district may be limited by size, teacher shortages, and capacity of local teachers to support multiple preparations/courses.

CDLS PROVIDES

Same components as Course Enrollment option, except with a local district/school teacher

Allows local teachers to independently teach a CDLS provided course or to “co-teach” with or be “mentored” by an experienced CDLS instructor

Allows district/school to support a “district cohort of students” giving greater flexibility in setting calendars, customizing content, and supporting students locally.

DISTRICT PROVIDES
